2025 Season
October 4: Our last Saturday of the 2025 Fall Season.
Weather couldn’t have been better. Great crowds. Lots of hits…and lots of popcorn!
September 27: A beautiful day for baseball.
Great spectator crowds with lots of cheering.
Lots of buddies for 10:30 and 11:30 games.
September 20: Managed to play 3 full games and
first inning of 11:30 game before shutting down to rain.

Our annual ALL STAR EVENT featuring the
Des Moines Police & Fire Departments
as our buddies was a big success!
It was warm, but most were too excited to care!
We even played under the lights.

September 13: We had some high temps for these games.
Outstanding group of buddies!
But by finishing around 12:30 PM, we got
everyone home to air conditioning!

Our Fall Season started Saturday, August 30. It was a glorious day.
Lots of buddies. Great doubling of teams.
AND FAMOUS buddies at the 11:30 game–MLB players who were competing
at the I Cubs-sponsored HOME RUN DERBY X. What fun! Organized chaos!

Saturday, September 6th was
our annual “WEAR YOUR SCHOOL COLORS DAY”.
Lots of great school colors–Cardinal & Gold, Black & Gold,
Purple & Gray, or Bulldog Blue!
Hope your favorite team won!
Local FAREWAY stores hosted a significant event that will
benefit all of our Miracle Leagues
here in the Des Moines area. When you shopped at FAREWAY
any time during May 12-17, you hopefully were asked
if you would like to “round up” the amount of your purchase.
This “round up” money was donated by the FAREWAY Stores to our Leagues.
The May Roundup results are in!
Thanks to you and FAREWAY STORES, $3,000
was donated to each of the metro leagues.

Our Kiwanis Miracle League was the beneficiary of the
annual Al Knudsen Memorial Golf Tournament on June 21st. Over 80 golfers
enjoyed the Beaver Creek Golf Course and wonderful comradery in remembering Al.
