Looking for volunteer opportunities in Des Moines?  Our fall season is over but we still have a few opportunities to volunteer!

 FALL “WINTERIZING”

During our “off” months, we have really been sprucing up the KML
ballpark.  Concrete replacement, painting,
in-ground lighting, etc. have been some of our major improvements.
Play has resumed–12 youth teams and 4 adult teams.
Yes, it takes volunteers to clean everything up and get us
ready for play–and it will take volunteers to put
everything away and “winterize”!  Tentative date is Saturday, October 19.
Please join us.  Bring work gloves.  We’ll be taking down the banners,
doing a bit of landscaping,
cleaning the restrooms and concession areas.

Become a Coach or Assistant Coach

Interested in becoming a Coach or Assistant Coach for the Kiwanis Miracle League in 2025?
Watch for details to sign up!  All will need to register for 2025–seasoned coaches as well as new coaches.  

We are seeking three or four more ASSISTANT COACHES to enable us to have at least three
assistant coaches on each of our 16 regular teams.  

In a normal season, if you can commit to at least 50% of our seven or eight Saturdays, you’re a good prospect.
And, don’t worry, you don’t have to know a lot about baseball.  What you DO
need to have is a desire and passion to work with kids!  A clear background
check (at our expense) is required of all coaches and assistant coaches.
We’d love to include you on our coach roster!  Please contact us if you are  have questions.
