Volunteer

Looking for volunteer opportunities in Des Moines?  Our 2024 seasons are over but we’ll be seeking volunteers come spring!

 SPRING “UNWINTERIZING”

Watch for details as the snow and cold yield to spring temps.
Yes, it takes volunteers to clean everything up and get us
ready for play–and it will take volunteers to bring the ballpark to life and “unwinterize”!  No dates yet.
We’ll post a volunteer link to sign up as the date(s) get(s) closer:

Become a Coach or Assistant Coach

Interested in becoming a Coach or Assistant Coach for the Kiwanis Miracle League in 2025?
Watch for details to sign up!  All will need to register for 2025–seasoned coaches as well as new coaches.

We are seeking three or four more ASSISTANT COACHES to enable us to have at least three
assistant coaches on each of our 16 regular teams.

In a normal season, if you can commit to at least 50% of our seven or eight Saturdays, you’re a good prospect.
And, don’t worry, you don’t have to know a lot about baseball.  What you DO
need to have is a desire and passion to work with kids!  A clear background
check (at our expense) is required of all coaches and assistant coaches.
We’d love to include you on our coach roster!  Please contact us if you are  have questions.

Special link to register as a coach or assistant coach will be posted in late February, so please check back!
